Abstract/Preface

Recurrent acute rhinosinusitis (RARS), a mild form of chronic rhinosinusitis, often goes undiagnosed owing to insufficient understanding of its clinical manifestations. The objective of the research is to assess the implications of ethmoid sinusitis in individuals with RARS during symptom-free periods between the acute rhinosinusitis episodes. Imaging can be utilised for surgical planning in cases of recurrent or chronic sinus infections. The author reviews the role of asymptomatic isolated ethmoid sinusitis as a potential etiological nidus for future RARS.
